Testimonials from schools

It was an absolute pleasure to host Sara and her fantastic Compassionate Classroom programme.  There is a huge increase in anxiety rates in children and teenagers and this course taught the children simple, everyday tips to overcome worry and stress. The course was child-friendly and the vocabulary used was appropriate for the age level.  Sara is full of energy and enthusiasm and bonded so well with the children over 4 weeks. She normalised worry and stress for the children and the impact of daily meditation was clear.  They were more focussed and were able to deal with conflict and difficulty more easily.  The ‘Compassionate Classroom’ taught the children essential coping skills which will be beneficial throughout their lives. I would highly recommend both the course and the excellent facilitator.

This series of lessons was a valuable learning experience for the children. The input and guidance through each lesson on the course was very constructive in helping them to identify their feelings. I feel they gained a range of practical strategies that will be beneficial to them as they grow, They particularly enjoyed the Mindfulness exercises and learning how to be a friend to themselves. The course was an ideal complement to our SPHE curriculum, Its focus on Wellbeing will help the children develop the attitude, skills and knowledge they need for living a healthy life.
